In August, things get really hot with the dynamic Caribbean Carnival. The city’s annual Caribbean Carnival is the UK’s largest after Notting Hill and brings vibrancy and colour to the city. The procession dances its way around the city, displaying fabulous costumes and boundless energy, before settling on Victoria Park to party ’til late. This is quite a day and attracts thousands of visitors.
