  • What's the difference between a student flat and a student house?

    Our student flats typically offer more communal facilities, such as shared lounges, study spaces and on-site services, and are often located closer to the city centre. Student houses tend to offer more independence and a traditional shared-living setup. Both are fully furnished.

  • Is a security deposit required for a student flat?

    Yes, all tenants are required to pay a security deposit, typically £250 to £450 per person, stated on the property page and due before your tenancy starts. It’s held in an authorised tenancy deposit scheme (usually DPS) and returned in line with your tenancy agreement.

  • Can international students book a student flat with you?

    Yes, we welcome international students. If you’re unable to provide a UK-based guarantor, contact us before applying so we can discuss the alternative arrangements a landlord may accept.

  • How to request maintenance for my student flat?

    If you notice any maintenance issues, please report them at our maintenance page. You can report any problem by low, medium or high priority. If you’re not sure whether it’s an emergency or not, please consult our out of hours page.

    Please do not contact outside maintenance companies or try to fix the issue yourself unless it is an emergency, such as a gas leak or fire.

  • What amenities come with a student flat?

    Each property comes with different amenities that you can find in each student flat. You’ll even find that some of our properties were refurbished in 2022 to improve your student living experience. While we can’t guarantee each flat has the same amenities, here are some we offer:
