  • Are utilities included in the rent of your properties?

    This depends on the property you are looking at. While most flats and studios will include the utilities in the rent, most houses will not. It’s important to check your options on the property page. If utilities are not included in the rent, you can either add them for an extra charge or arrange your own utilities.

  • Is there a deposit required for your properties?

    Yes. There are two kinds of deposits you may be asked to pay: a holding deposit and a security deposit.

    The holding deposit on most of our properties is £99 per person, and paying this reserves your chosen house for your group. This goes towards your rent when you sign a tenancy agreement.

    The security deposit is typically between £250 and £350 per person. This is due with your first rent, protected with a scheme, and returnable at the end of the tenancy.

  • What is the duration of the lease or contract for your properties?

    We have a range of lease dates available, with the most usual lengths being between 44 and 52 weeks. If you want to leave your contract, you must find someone else to fill the vacancy. If not, you are legally required to continue paying rent.

  • What appliances are included with your properties?

    All our properties come with similar amenities, but we cannot guarantee each property or room will be the same. Some amenities include:

    • Double bed
    • Wardrobe or drawers
    • Desk and chair
    • Ensuite
    • TV
    • Washing machine
    • Refrigerator
    • Oven and hob
    • Microwave
    • Dining room table
    • Rear garden
    • Off-road parking
  • How are maintenance requests handled?

    Please report a request using our maintenance form. Simply input your property and tenant details, the problem and its priority, and any supporting evidence.

  • What safety features do your properties offer?

    Safety is a priority and our properties provide a range of solutions. Most of our houses use ASSA restricted keys, which can only be copied by us by contacting an ASSA locksmith. 

    Some houses offer burglar alarms and/or CCTV monitoring, while Blue Fox Close houses are gated cul-de-sac. Some of our properties have residential assistants and security guards where you can report household issues.
